DAISY ON DECK

I don’t know what is going on.  First, we had to get out of the house for three days.  Each time we returned, more and more of my things were gone and there were hundreds of strange smells in every room.  On the second day, my favorite couch was gone.  I’m getting a little concerned about what is happening.  I haven’t seen suitcases, a sure sign that someone is leaving me.  But, my people are constantly spreading smelly  white stuff on the walls and packing things in boxes.  Sometimes they get the house really clean and we all have to leave. When we come back, there are strange people smells all over the house.  They talk about “renters.”  I don’t know what that means but I don’t like strange smells in my house.

I hope whatever is happening doesn’t involve riding in a car.  In the top picture, I am standing next to my crate and my treat jar. Whenever I see my people getting cleaned up, I run to my crate and wait for my treat thinking, “Please don’t take me. Let me stay home.”  You see, I HATE riding in cars.  I shake the whole time and sometimes I throw up.

Now that my couches are gone, I have to resort to resting on the floor on  this stupid bed they bought me.  (second picture)  It’s comfortable, but nothing like stretching out on a big couch.  In that picture, I have my winter coat on.

Sometimes they call me “First Mate Daisy.”  I like being “first” so that sounds good.  Mate?  Hmmmm.  A long time ago, when I lived with my mom and brothers and sisters, my mom had a talk with me about “mating” but I can’t recall what she said.

So, I guess I’ll have to just look cute and hope the future holds something I’ll like and it won’t make me throw up.
