More Christmas Decorations

The photo above is part of an elaborate animated display on one piece of property - probably about three lots. I purposely included the seawall to show how close to the water the display is built. Below are a few more shots of this particular yard. We wondered if these waterfront properties decorate both the front and waterside yards, but probably do.

The weekend is forecast to be warm with no rain, so we expect a large group of boats in the lake again. An interesting sign is at the entrance to Lake Sylvia from the ICW. It states that this is a no wake zone EXCEPT if you are water skiing and it limits those boats to 35 mph. Perhaps a city councilman or influential person had kids who like to waterski when this ordinance was passed.
We also took the dinghy down into some canals and found a rather interesting boat pictured below. Yes, it is built from a real airplane fuselage. We’ve met quite a few cruisers who are retired pilots, so perhaps the person who is building these thought there would be a market for them. Not so much......
