Getting Thing Done in St. Augustine

We are resigned to staying here a few days until the sail is fixed. Mark found a woman who works at the Municipal Marina who repairs sails. We are waiting to hear what it costs. She said she charges $70 an hour. This is the second time we’ve had to get the sails repaired, but the other times it was just a little fraying. This is a huge rip. Somehow I think it would be well worth it to buy a heavy duty sewing machine and it would probably pay for itself.
In my never ending attempts to get dolphin photos, I tried again as three of them were following us when we went ashore in the dinghy.
For $10, we can tie the dinghy up at the Municipal Marina for a day. That also entitles us to use the boaters’ showers and the laundry room. Therefore, we spent part of today doing laundry.
Having the bikes is great, as we had to go to a Radio Shack a few miles away and tomorrow we’ll ride to Target. We spent a week here in July, so we’ve seen all the tourist attractions. While we would like to be moving on, if we have to stay a little longer someplace, this is a good place to do it. The weather is great - in the 80’s with low humidity.
