Tomorrow we have to be at the fuel dock in a nearby marina at 8 am to get fuel, water, and a pump out. Then we’ll move down the dock by 8:30 as we’ve hired someone to clean the bottom of the boat. Hopefully he’ll discover that the props are fouled and he’ll scrape lots of barnacles off them. This would mean that it could be part of the problem for our slow speed. At 10 am we have a phone appointment with Scott from Catco who will lead Mark through a series of checks on the chargers. It’s possible that one of them is bad again. This will be the third time we’ve needed a replacement. Everything is still under warranty, but this problem is still holding us up.
The photo above is a sunset from our foredeck. The sun is actually peeking through the trees and reflected in the water of Broad Creek, where we are anchored.
