Today we rode our bikes several miles to the Hilton Head Beach.  Not many people were there and the few who were had lots of layers on.  Even the lifeguards were wearing winter jackets and stocking caps!  The temperature was 59 degrees with a cold wind.  We love having our bikes, which we got in Ft. Lauderdale last June. 

The bike paths go all over the city and there are signs around reminding people, “Do not feed the alligators.”   As we rode over one of the bridges on the bike path, a group of people were looking down into a green pool of water.  An alligator was resting.  He was only about four feet long, even though he looks much larger in this photo. 

We were also looking for a movie theater, and eventually found it.  We’ll go back tomorrow to see a movie in the afternoon. It’s difficult to find anything in this town as the zoning ordinances require small signs on the buildings.
